AirPods are lightweight and have a curved appearance. They sit at the ideal angle for comfort and enhanced audio delivery to your ear. The stem is 33% shorter than the second-generation AirPods and contains a force sensor for easy management of music and calls.

Sound is positioned all around you to provide a realistic, three-dimensional listening experience for music, television shows, and movies. AirPods’ gyroscopes and accelerometers work together to track your head motions, making it sound like you’re in the middle of songs and situations.

Adaptive EQ
Instantly adjusts music to your unique ear shape. Inward-facing microphones detect what you’re hearing and modify low- and mid-range frequencies to bring out the rich subtleties in each song.

Extended battery life
AirPods offer an additional hour of battery life compared to AirPods (2nd generation), allowing for up to 6 hours of listening and 4 hours of speaking time. With just 5 minutes of charging, you’ll have approximately an hour of listening or talking time. In addition, the Lightning Charging Case allows for up to 30 hours of total listening time.

Sweat and water resistant.
Both AirPods and the Lightning Charging Case are IPX4 water resistant, so they can endure everything from rain to intense workouts.

Setup is simple: take them out of the case and they’re ready to use. Automatically transition between Apple devices. In-ear detection recognizes the difference between your ear and other surfaces. Announce alerts with Siri allows you to have Siri read your alerts through your AirPods. Audio Sharing allows you and a buddy to seamlessly share a song or show between any two sets of AirPods.
